Alan P. Niemann, CLU, ChFC, AEP has over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry. He is a Life and Qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table* with over 10 years as a Top of the Table Qualifier. Alan started his career in 1983 with Mutual of New York, as a Field Underwriter. He later advanced to the roles of Sales Manager & Regional Director covering the central U.S. and then became Agency Manager of the Oklahoma City MONY office. In May of 1999, Alan was appointed General Agent for John Hancock in Oklahoma City. Alan transitioned the firm to an independent organization in 2013 then rebranded in 2020 under the name Adaptation Financial Advisors. 

Growing up on a family farm and ranch in western Oklahoma, Alan learned the value of hard work early in life. He attended Oklahoma State University, in Stillwater, OK where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Economics and Farm & Ranch management in 1982. During his time at Oklahoma State, he was active in his fraternity, Delta Chi, where he served as Summer Rushman Chair and Chapter President.  

Alan is married to his wife of 40 years, Gwen, and they have two daughters. Avery graduated from Denver University and is a resident of Denver, Colorado operating as the firm’s Chief Administrative Officer. Ashton graduated from Texas Christian University with a degree in Finance and is now an advisor at our Houston, TX location.  

Alan has been a member of the Oklahoma City Men’s Dinner Club and Rotary Club 29 for over 30 years. He is also a member of Leadership Oklahoma City Class XV, as well as, a member of The Committee of 100, Oklahoma City Chapter.  

*Honorees of Million Dollar Round Table (1987, 1991, 1997-2024) must achieve a sales goal predetermined by the MDRT organization and maintain this level throughout the course of one year.  Qualified individuals must pay a membership fee to participate.  Sales amounts are independently verified by the MDRT organization through certifying letters.  Qualification for recognition is based on the amount of premium/commission dollars produced over the previous year.  MDRT's Life Membership (2004-2008, 2014-2017, 2021-2024) is awarded to members with 10 years of qualifying member and may attest to their production or apply without production under the waiver provision with payment of the required dues. MDRT's Court of the Table members (1997, 1999, 2005, 2012, 2014-2016, 2021-2024) have distinguished themselves by producing at a level three times that of MDRT membership requirements.
